PRINCIPAL ROLES
Will: (early to mid-20s) A bartender who has held on to a secret for all his young years, and now he desperately needs to be himself finally. Still, the person he projected to the world in his youth was never able to honestly express his love or true identity to his best friend. He now knows he must come clean, for better or worse, but is afraid that their past bond as best friends is the only thing that still holds them together and will make the truth seem false.
Danisha: (early 20s) African American female. Intelligent, beautiful, well-read, naïve, bookworm, who knows way more about scientific mass and atomic weight than she does about men. Her men are routinely liars, cheaters, and players who don’t deserve someone like her. She has fought very hard to succeed in college, but has no idea that soon she will be fighting for her life.
Hot Brunette: (20s-30s) A sexy, psychotic stalker, soap opera fanatic with crazy eyes from New York who pretends to be a Baltimore bar regular to get closer to a Soap Opera actor who she believes has been communicating with her as his character on the soap and giving her secret messages through the television set.
Ben:(20s - 40s) A superstar film drag queen. In character, she is bold and unapologetic about her inner confidence and self-worth, which sets her on a pedestal all her own. But all her glory lies within her brilliant disguise, and no one knows how unfamous she is when she is without it, except the actor who created her. Ben finally hears about the impact his character has on the world from a Baltimore cab driver who doesn’t recognize him.
